icon/graphic requests pt. 1
all right, my lovelies - i was actually waiting to do this - until things had calmed down.
i am doing an icon/graphic request for the friends and members of this icon journal. i have only done them once or twice before in my old icon journal (rupiconic) and that was mainly because i never had the time.
...not really saying i have it but i would love to do it now. i'm in a rut with my jennifer hudson mood theme so i wanted to do something to ease my mind. with that being said - these are the rules (don't you hate rules?) as follows:
a) four requests per person
b) you may only have one graphic (i.e. banners, headers)
in your request but up to three/four icons
c) start requesting!
you must have this journal friended to make the requests.

obama love vs. obama obsession vs. obama hate
all right, so i wanted to make this post before the texas and ohio results. i know it may sound silly but i'm really proud of the obama supporters that have come and snagged icons.
what makes me proud is not the turn-out, it's the fact that people have respectively come and taken icons without saying insulting things about hillary clinton. i recently saw someone post hillary icons and say that the barack support is sickening. i don't want to eat my words but no one has done this (in regards to senator clinton), despite a lot of the backlash from the her campaign.
i know it's just a silly little icon journal but i'm glad that people have been positive about this and positive in the sense that they didn't have to tear down someone in competition with the person they love to build them up.
whoever you vote for, you support them regardless of the results. of course, by the time november comes i hope that none of you are bitter towards any candidate that is beneficial to your political party.
this is a random post but i'm proud and i was wary to post more obama icons because it's getting bitter between clinton and obama supporters and you guys have done well. thanks to everyone for participating and thanks to the people that don't support obama for not coming over and saying anything negative.
that being said, i hope to be posting more icons sometime this weekend ... if my nephew hasn't been born ... :-D!
